About Us
The first five years of a child's life are a time of enormous growth. At The Jewish Preschool on Sardis, a licensed five-star preschool
, we listen, guide, and help children make sense of their ever-changing world. We are a place where each child's individual style of learning and developing is valued and nurtured. We are a place that encourages children to observe the world around them with interest and curiosity, to express themselves creatively and to develop feelings of self-confidence and accomplishment. We are a place that fosters a natural love and appreciation for Judaism.
In 1986, Rabbi Yossi and Mariashi Groner established The Jewish Preschool on Sardis as a preschool open to all Jewish children. What began with 16 children has now grown to nearly 150. The Jewish Preschool on Sardis offers classes for ages 1 to 5. Our preschool family is diverse. About 35 percent of our families attend Temple Beth El, while 35 percent belong to Temple Israel. Ten percent are Ohr HaTorah members, and 20 percent are unaffiliated. However our families choose to celebrate their Judaism, one thing is certain: 100 percent of the children at our school love being Jewish.
